Hi guys.

 

My 2012 Octavia VRs has the Bolero head unit and the Kufatec fiscon handsfree system.

 

I have paired my iPhone with it and it works fine.

 

The DIS display in front of the steering wheel is stuck in German however when I select 'PHONE' from the DIS menu.

 

Everything else is in English on the DIS and on the Bolero screen.

 

Any ideas how to change this?

The language settings are completely independent of the cars language.

 

I think you need to key *582#3002 on the phone keypad after pairing your phone

I tried the *582#3002 but it just tried to make the call!

it should go through the motions of making a call, but not actually make one. The code is intercepted by the fiscon unit so the call is never actually made.
