7 days free insurance?

Featured Replies

Might be a question for the dealer really....when I picked up my Blackline the dealer gave me 7 days free insurance (meaning I didn't have to worry about swapping over my insurance on the exact day of pick up ).

Do Skoda still offer 7 days free insurance on the new Octy? Due to pick mine up in 2 weeks!

ALL UK marques have to offer it as it's the only way they can guarantee the car is insured when they come to tax it.

Excellent news - many thanks for confirming.

Yep even Hyundai, my wife (being an Accountant) brought an I10 at about a third of the price of my car and still got 7 days free insurance.

Just a heads up about the 7 days insurance.

Just remember that at the end of the 3 year warranty, if you take out breakdown cover with your insurance there will be a weeks difference between your insurance and breakdown cover.

I forgot about this until the water pump failed two days after fitting. Phoned up the breakdown cover to be told, "sorry, your breakdown cover doesn't start until next week. The same day as your insurance!" Bugger!
