mesto/misto foamer.

Featured Replies

Got one of these given today. Read the instructions, put my snowfoam/water mix in. Pumped it a lot. Worked brilliant for 3 seconds then the pressure went down to a dribble. Tried a few things and only got the same results. Cant see what else I could be doing wrong but anyone got one of these and can give me a dummies guide to use.

No but I have been looking at buying one. I'll be very interested to know if they are any good.

They are good if it's the mesto 1.5 litre one, mainly used when you don't have access to pressure washer or attending a show and shine. I use one bottle cap full snow foam then rest warm water it works best not to brim it full as there's little room for pressure to be built up ps don't over pump it as the base will split not me but was told when I bought it [emoji106]

Brilliant thanks. Will try again over next couple of days. I basically did what you have said. Not sure what im doing wrong though.

It works best 3/4 to half full and to be fair you do need to keep pumping whilst spraying it's good for tight spaces and difficult areas the pressure lance doesn't get to

You need to un screw the barrel and take out a couple of the felt discs

Thanks guys. I will give this all a go on thursday.

I've just ordered one along with 5l of Power Maxed Jet Wash & Wax.

I'll let the car get nice and dirty so I can give it a whirl hopefully on the weekend. I'll put some pics up to show.

Cracking combo. Used it this weekend on the other half's car. Was more or less a touchless wash.

Yep, got mine working properly now. I found the same, hardly had to touch the car.

How many of the discs did you take out?

Just one. I took 2 out at first but found it a bit strange. 1 disc out give a nice thick foam that stuck to my car. I'll be using a weaker mix next time to see if that helps it run off better. Possibly even a weaker mix with 2 discs out. Ive been using it for all the exterior pvc trying to get the correct spray pattern/result.

I've got 3 out on mine at the moment!

Can I ask what the purpose of taking the felt disc's out is for? Is it to reduce the pressure or does it just change the spray pattern?

It increases the longevity of the pressure and improves the spray pattern. It's a little bit of trial and error with different products and dilution ratios.

I might try the same next time. What ratio solution are you using?

Using Powermaxed Jet Wash & Wax @ 1:10

Can I ask what version did you guys buy? I have the 3132bc with edpm seals and their doesn't appear to be any felt washers in the nozzle, unless I'm being a bit thick.

Not sure what version mine is, will have a look when I get home.

You need to unscrew the end one and they are inside the long barrel if that makes sense?

That's the one I have. I tried it out for the first time today and so far i'm not very impressed with it, it doesn't seem to be foaming up very well for me and it doesn't seem to have much pressure unless you unscrew the nozzle which then turns it more into a jet rather than a spray.

Going to have a bit more of a fiddle with it to see if I can get it to work better otherwise I may have to invest in something else.

That's a cleaner not a foamer....

Ahhh, searched foamer that came up

Yep i've just realised that myself it seems I have brought the wrong one which explains why it doesn't do what I want it to do.

Nevermind i'll find another use for it.

I'm looking to purchase one of these, am I correct in thinking that I need Model Number 3132FE (Alkali) for use with chemicals with a ph 7 - 14?
