good spot, car hoover just broke!

Grossly unfair, offers not available in Northern Ireland. I would love to know how the Company can justify the decision.

I have that wet & dry vacuum - very light and a decent length power cord. You can plug the hose into the outlet to turn it into an effective blower/dryer

Is the blower function strong enough to blow water out of confined spaces like door handles and wheel bolt holes?.

Yeah, I'd like to know that too.

Yes - it's a strong jet. I've used it on the car quite often. One use is to stop water constantly dripping out of the rear badge on the Yeti - I'm sure that has several litres storage capacity!

Yeah, if you take off the lining on the inside of the boot-lid and pry off the badge you can remove the badge tank by gently squeezing the neck through the hole into the car and pulling it through. If it's a facelift Yeti then you'll have to remove the fixing screw at the top first.

Don't suppose you have a rough idea what the motor wattage is?, as the ad is a little light on detail. My son may use it in his garage on his small generator.

Just checked - 1300W. It's lightweight but quite stable with the castors sticking out of the main body. it's quite happy to trundle around after the hose as you move around, even on my uneven concrete drive.

Thanks very much for doing that, I know what I'm doing on Monday morning now. :D

For those interested in a hoover for the car, I note Ideal World are currently selling the Nilfisk 20T wet and dry vacuum for under £65!

I have the Nilfisk 30T wet and dry, and it is a brilliant piece of kit.  The reason I didn't buy the 20T was at the time Argos were selling the 30T cheaper than the 20T, and I got a £10 voucher.  If this offer was on at the time of my purchase, I would have snapped the 20T up!  :envy: Spares are fairly cheap and readily available; Maplins, Argos et al.

dbg400, do you use the paper bag when dry vacuuming, or do you just use the blue bag that covers the motor assembly?. Picked my one up today, and just wondering what to use in the "real world", as the instructions are a little ambiguous.

I use the fabric bag - seems to do a good enough job. It has to as I mislaid the paper bag & foam sleeve not long after getting it!
