Hi, i have a 2009 Octavia 1,6 tdi. Sometimes the glow plug lights come on and sometime also the engine ligh - but not always. The engine runs ok maybe a bit ruff but nothing serious. The errorcode is p0401. Its has run about 150 000 kilometers.

I have searched the forum but i almost everything is about how expensive it is to get it - not much about doing it yourself.

I belive that the car has a complete EGR/cooler? Right?

Is it much work? I have a lift in the garage and is no afraid of some work...

Would really appriciate some help.

Just give a good clean to EGR valve and all intake system and see what comes then. ;)

But is it worth all the work? Ive heard that its pretty much work just to remove it because the EGR and cooler is in one piece?
