Can it be done without removing the bumper. I need to check the motor on.the back as the adjuster isn't moving.

Yes easy peasy. Remove indictor and then theres 3 or 4 torx to undo

    There is a sweet spot with the angle. Iirc tip down the indicator end slightly as you lift it up and out.
