Upgrading to a Octavia

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I have recently been considering upgrading my 2013 Fabia VRS to an Octavia VRS. I just love the style both inside and out and would like the extra space plus some nice leather heated seats. However I am still in a bit of negative equity with the Fabia and rather then upgrading too soon I have decided to wait until the time is right. My question to you all is when do you think would be the right time to upgrade up (based on my calculations I will have broken even by August), and do you think the new Octavia (2013 onwards) will drop much in value over the course of the next year?

Many thanks

The Mk3 has been out for nearly 2 years, so yes, I would think prices will drop a bit more as you come closer to an update.

By negative equity, I take it you mean that you owe money on a PCP deal? A bit more information would be required before options could be put forward on the table for you to decide on.

Currently I owe £1000 more than it is worth in terms of a p/ex
