Hi all am in the process of selling my octavia vrs but i have knocking noise on off side front if im turning right from a junction ive had a couple of garages look at it and both are unsure as its not cv joint or boot which was my thought

Noise has been there since the summer sounds like somethings catching but only when turning right

Any ideas im at a loss

have you checked that the spring is sitting properly at the top where it meets the top mount, mine was slightly out and make a knocking noise when turning and just needed repositioning.

Broken pigtail on the spring can make some odd noises.

 

Loose exhaust bracket or heat shield?
