Recently bought a Yeti after thorough research here on Briskoda and just want to say thank you and hello to all of the thoughtful people on this forum who take the time to post and to answer posts.

The whole thing is invaluable to anyone starting out with a new make/model.

As an intro, I joined my first car club when I worked for Lucas Automotive back in 1969 . I had an Austin Healy Sprite (Mk 3) at the time and we did the usual things, namely marshalling, car rallies and treasure hunts etc.  It was a great time socially and there was hardly a car on the roads on a Sunday morning.

I've had a few different makes and models since, including a few oddballs but now I have the Skoda and a VW Transporter converted to a camper van. A perfect combination, I think.
