Just thought I'd say hello; collected our 61-plate Superb 2.0 TDI CR170 Elegance (manual) yesterday, and really enjoyed the 165 mile journey home

 

Our priorities and search criteria evolved over the course of time and we had to widen the area (and our budget) a bit, but it was worth the wait to get the right car for us. We would have been very happy with the 140 but couldn't find one with all the options we wanted so went with the 170 in the end. It will be used to tow a boat as well as ferry the family around.

 

I'm sure I'll have loads of questions over the coming months; currently contemplating retro-fitting front parking sensors, just weighing up the perceived necessity versus faff-factor.
