Hi Guys, 

 

Today has been a bit of a flop. Took the car to a VW specialist in Edinburgh called Autohaus to have the replacement BCM coded but he didn't have time to do a full reprogramme and thought he was only coding some of the uses for the Vrs e.g. DRL. He ran into a small problem with regards to the remote central locking where he wasn't able to get the car to lock only unlock, and the on-board computer displays "Check SafeLock" when the key is removed.

 

Skoda won't touch the car as they didn't supply and fit the new BCM so I'm reliant on finding a specialist who will. Can anyone point me in the direction of someone in Central Scotland who could help programme my new BCM?

What about Star Performance in Dysart, I have found them very helpful in the past

I gave them a call yesterday and booked in for Tuesday. I did originally go to AutoHaus but they're too busy plus I need to know if this new BCM is faulty or not
