Hello from Cambridge

Featured Replies

Been lurking for a while whilst deciding what our next car should be, tomorrow we take delivery of a used 1.8 TSI Yeti (27K miles) to replace our Suzuki Jimny. Don't think the Yeti will match it off road but speed, practicality and space it's a winner.

Although it's an SE was surprised it doesn't have Bluetooth so will have to change that. Interested to know if having it chipped will also improve fuel efficiency, (bit of forum searching required) and what software changes are worth carrying out for extra 'features'.

See you on the road, if you fancy a Jimny then PM me!

Cheers

The Jimny, the ultimate in off road capabilities! Is it due to how light there are?

Should be a nice change for you, from Suzuki to Skoda. Enjoy your new car!

Thanks JRJG!

Jimny is not as light as you'd think due to low ratio box, ladder chassis etc, just a capable little car. Excellent for finding short cuts home

Welcome to Briskoda. :) Are you buying the Yeti from Vindis?

Where is Vindis?

Hello DGW.

No, ventured into the fens. ALS Autos a Skoda dealer in Little Downham, seem to be more open to negotiation than Vindis.
