Is your car mapped? A lot of people go for the Sachs kit for a vr6 with a g60 flywheel. Similar price to what you've found there but more tried and tested and handles higher torque well. I'll go vr6 one if mine goes.

yep its mapped g60 very dear works out as much as a dual mass £183 fly wheel £3.64 bolt x 12 vr6 clutch £128.76

that why i went with this kit

would love that kit myself but cash is a bit tight at the moment just wanted to know if any one fitted this sort of kit

Sorry thought they were cheaper when I looked. Anyway if you're up for bidding there's a couple at 150ish ending in a couple of days on ebay. Could be worth a punt.

Looks a good deal looked at it my self but like i say cash is tight at the mo so i want for the kit of ebay with nectar points got it for £85 quid then £177 fitting so THen some oil as well so about £270 job done

Fair enough mate, I've got an ever increasing list of jobs I want done to mine also

I have a lightened smf with clutch kit for sale which was on a tdi., but im sure it will fit the 1.8t

 

it was on the car for about 2k miles but I took it off when the engine went as I was getting a lot of chatter from the diesel engine.

 

im selling it for £100 + post, and you will need bolts.  I also have a vr6 clutch plate for sale separately for £30 which is brand new.

All fitted clutch pedal nice and light and it goes better as well. All i have to do now is get a new 02 sensor does anyone if its 4 or 5 wire
