Sony Playstation Emails

Featured Replies

Has anyone else been plagued by a more or less constant barrage of emails from Sony, regarding the change of password on their PlayStation account?

I haven't had a PlayStation3 for about 3 years now, since I got bored with the rubbish games on it as I found shooting anything that moved boring and driving games tedious, I tried sports games... Nah.

Anyway I don't have access to the account, I can't even remember the username of the account. Is this a scam or is anyone else getting this SPAM?

If getting fed-up playing with games means now you got a life, and grown into an adult...LOL

They didn't have games in your era did they?

Anyway, it'll probably be a scam if they are bombarding you with loads of emails. Can you not remember your email address you used to register?

Nope. I have a list of real & "false" email addresses, the latter I use for registering with forums (not this one) that I may only use once or twice and drivel called faecesbook & 7wa77€r.

I don't know where to start even, Sony PlayStation Network? I don't know if there is such a thing?

If your talking about my 1950's and 1960's then your spot-on, they didn't have electronic type games..LOL

Mind you my gran had the first black & white TV in our village, with 'The Lone Ranger' of a Saturday teatime...memories...sigh..

I used to like arcade games, but I find shoot em ups exceptionally trite and boring.

Driving games are similar, once you get used to the controls and once I assimilate the circuit data and the moves that the computer will make, I can usually beat it hands down & create records. They're not realistic or challenging.

Don't like football (UK or US) or tennis, so what's left?

I get them too.

I've never used PSN

I did have a PS3, but that was three or four years ago. Anyway. I've been through an old laptop and found a list of websites & passwords and hey presto found it!

So in my case they were genuine and I've now started the account closure process with them and I did the necessary checks to ensure that it was the correct website and verified it by right clicking on the left hand side of the URL bar and it confirmed the identity was genuine.
