Installing The Parking Dynamics PD1 REAR Parking Sensor advise.

Just bite the bullet and get proper ones. The eBay jobbies are only about £20 and do the job fine - mine have now been on for about a year with no issues whatsoever - did a fitting guide on here as well, they really couldn't be easier!

Yes fitted them to our MK5 Golf... waste of time and money!

Pick a decent (Cobra) flush set and they will look factory fitted.

Chris, those are not OE flush sensors.... BUT. I have fitted 3 sets of them and they are pretty discrete (especially if you colour code them)

I fitted a set of sensor purchased on ebay and they are fine. I used the information and advice available on this forum to determine the exact position to drill the bumper.

I had no issues at all. The particular set came with a corer to drill the exact size of hole.

My only problem was measuring and remeasuring then measuring again to get the exact position. The rest was dead easy.

Don't know the ebay code number but I can dig it out if you want.

The sensor heads come in a variety of colours too to match your bumper.

As i say, dead easy  no issues and its still working perfectly.  I can think of about 3 occasions where they have saved me from damaging my bumper so they have paid for themselves several times over.

Cheers

Perfect paint match for what colour though?

Regards Chris

Silver, though my wife has the red ones on her leon and they are perfect too...

Problem is they do not do Race Blue.  I think I shall have to buy a can of spray and a can of varnish and then hope it matches.
