It's goodbye to the Octavia Estate

Featured Replies

After two years and 65,000 miles it's time to say goodbye to the Octavia Elegance 1.6cr  DSG Estate. Next Saturday I pick up the replacement.

Costs: 3 variable services, one set of Continentals, one set of wiper blades, diesel at around 53 mpg.

2 faults: Sticking turbo actuator, which was sorted out by the RAC and never went wrong again. Leaking union on the oil cooler, which cost me £100 to replace out of warranty as Skoda paid 80%.

I hope the replacement car is as good as this one was..

And what is the replacement? An Octy 3?
