equipment / items in boot octavia vrs mk1

Featured Replies

Hi all does anyone know the list of items that should be included in the boot of the vrs octavia mk1. I have the wheelbrace jack etc. From memory im sure there should be a first aid kit warning triangle etc. If anyone has the info or a picture if they have the original items in their boot I would appreciate it . especially somewhere where I can buy them apart from scrap cars cheers all

Never seen those as factory fit items.

No worries thanks for post. I have a lot of holders with not a lot of stuff! No towing eye etc. I had a vrs years ago and I'm sure I had a first aid kit etc. I may be wrong though ☺

Towing eye usually in the toolkit in the spare wheel. Those cubby holes are just for storage of own bits and pieces

Yeah I only have a jack and wheelbrace. Need to find some bits and bobs then !

Also should be switchable screwdriver

And plastic pincer type things for wheel bolt caps?

Looks like there should be a compressor or something in there too. I got a big gap in mine

No towing eye on octavia as its already on the car behind the side grill on the front bumper.

I bought mine new - no warning triangle or first aid kit. IIRC they were optional extras and were like 50 quid each.

Cant open link on phone now, but one of em id guess is the 6disc cd changer that only works with stock head unit.

The other looks like a tyre repair gunk bottle setup?

There's a corpse in mine?

The CD stacker lives in the LH rear wing between the wheel arch and the light cluster, not in the spare wheel well.

correct, but its in the parts diagram link

?Been looking at the parts list?

?What are #28 and #29?

These are the compressor/inflater and the stuff to go in the tyre, for markets where a spare wheel was not supplied. If you want them, they look like those supplied with the Mk 2 Octy

Still need an eye for the front.

There's one welded on at the front driver side behind the grille isn't there?

I thought we were talking about "stuff that lives in the spare wheel well"?

i couldn't quote them as me brick of a fone was in the middle of having a stroke :D

edit - Just seen pikpilot's response, which also makes sense for the wheel well
