A while back I upgraded my car head unit from the original Stream MP3 to a Columbus. I always meant to sell the Stream but never got round to it! Anyway, I came across it the other day whilst having a bit of a clear out and thought I should get it sold. I was just prep'ing an eBay ad when I realised I have absolutely no idea what the security code is.

 

I've searched the docs etc that came with the car but there's no mention of it there. I'm assuming it's not something that is easily retrievable? Would a main dealer be able to help? And is it worth anything without a code?

Best way is to use an Ebay seller for a tenner or so, send them the serial number, and they'll send you the code. Then sell it with the code as it proves you're above board and not trying to sell something you don't know about.
