Glowplug connector removal please

Featured Replies

The car does not start as easily as my old 1996 Passat TDI, 5-6 turns and then not all cylinders seems to fire at once so I have to keep turning the engine with the starter to ensure ignition.

I turned the ignition on and off twice before starting and it started a lot easier than heating the glowplugs the once.

So I wanted to check the resistance of the glowplug (1.5 Ohms) to see if they are at fault.

I am not sure how to remove the connector caps on the ends of each glowplug.

Can someone scribble advice on here please.

On my 2002 Octavia 1.9 Tdi 110 they just pull off. Hope that helps?

Thanks,

I was not sure how hard to pull. I'll have another look.
