Does anyone know how big i can go with wheels on my octavia estate, it's been lowered 40mm all round looks like loads of space in arches still but don't want rubbing on arches

20s fit!

 

 

But in my opinion 18s looks best.

 

JESUS imagine the scrubbing on 20's but 18's get my vote

I was thinking 18's, only thing I'm not sure about is sizes, don't want them rubbing to much, also there only bout 15 mm gap between standard tyres and shocks on front

18s are just a nice fitment ! Depending on the width of wheel you will have to raise or lower the car . Here's mine on BMW X5 tiger claws

Mine are 18x8" and fit well with 215 tyres. 225s rubbed. Lloyd has wider wheels on his Octy - his is the one with the 20s above. Now he has BBs 18s and the rears are 18x9 I think. He has a thread in the project section.

The bbs's were the 19s

The 20s didnt actualy rub, i used pirelli p zero nero 225/30/20s, a lovely round smooth shoulder and went in the arches nice

They went to a new home, got a bf put on and attacked the hell out the arches due to squarer shoulders

Tyres are a funny factor, some have a nice shape to allow good fitment, some cause hell

I got 3sdms at mo 8.5/9.5

But i run stretch

Offset and camber will be your friend

Then add a good shape tyre and happy days
