Dimmer switch

Hi All

Just jumped in the car this evening & i have no clock lights ( just the needles ) no front or rear door lights ( puddle lights OK). I have output tested through VCDS & the door lights work ( not tried the clocks).When we got the car I noticed the dimmer switch was not working, I'am thinking this maybe the problem, any thoughts/ help welcome.

Just an update

Fitted new dimmer switch & still no dash lights or all four door lights any pointers would be very welcome. I've checked all the fuses they are all fine, so now running out of ideas :|

Hi all. Needing to change my spark plugs and I'm hoping someone can confirm if coil puller ( pencil type ) number T10530 would be suitable to remove the coil packs off my 2018 3 cylinder Monte Carlo 1.0 litre.

Hi iv got a p1553 barometric/manifold pressure signals issue. Some research suggest checking for vacuum leaks. How and where do I check for leaks. Iv added picture of my engine. I also have a slight kink (not shown in the photo) in the pipe from which I'm pointing.

Hi, I’m hoping someone can help me, I own a Skoda superb 2016 dsg, I’ve been driving along and suddenly car goes into limp mode and my car won’t drive, it comes up with a number of faults, tyre pressure, parking break fault, traction control etc, I turn it off wait a few minutes and turn key again, then it drives for a few miles and does the same again, the code reader tells me it’s lost control with tcm, I’ve changed wheel bearings and abs sensors and still nothing, now my car won’t start as it

Walnut Blasting: is it worth it?

I have a 12 year old Skoda Octavia mk3 TSI 1.4 with 155000 miles on the clock. It has JUST scraped through its MOT after repeated emissions failures due to carbon buildup. The mechanic has told me he doesn't want to see the car back next year as it won't pass again and cleaning the carbon deposit off wouldn't be worth it given the age and value of the car. I've read a lot about Walnut Blasting to remove carbon buildup. Would it be worth it in my case or is the mechanic right, and I should just
