HELP PLEASE.. About octavia vrs alloys to fit fabia vrs

Hi I'm just wondering if it matters about the tyre size on Octavia vrs alloys as im looking to buy some next week and not to sure if they would fit my fabia vrs as all the ones i've looked at are 205/40r17 but there's a pair for sale near me but they are 225/40r17 just wondering if that matters at all as I haven't got a clue about this stuff

I think Octavia wheels are a different stud pattern to Fabia wheels anyway.

mkI is the same but mkII and mkIII are different.

You might get rubbing with them as they are wider
