Phone book help with Bolero and genuine phone controller needed

Featured Replies

Silly me managed to wipe my phone book from my phone. For some reason it wasn't all backed up to my gmail account.

I still have the full phone book within the cars system. The blue tooth unit is a 3C8035730E. Is there a way of transferring the phone book off that to a phone? Other than sitting there for hours and doing it manually!

I was trying to root the phone to get it to connect under RASP when I lost the phones phonebook. I still haven't managed to root it yet.

My guess is it is stored in the bt module as a vcf file or similar but am not aware of any way to access it directly. It might be the "type in" job you fear.

Whatever you do don't press "update telephone book" on the head unit as you will lose even that option..
