noise while turning steering wheel ?

Featured Replies

Just had clutch slave cylinder, front subframe and both cv joint replaced

Driving the car today I noticed there was a sound when going off a round about, I got home parked the car start turning the wheel slightly left and right and I'm getting a funny sound,

best I can explain is when your parked on a hill and your handbrake is not on tight and the car start rolling, sound abit like that, when I was turning the steering wheel the brakes where not on so it's not that defiantly something to do with the steering

Will take back to garage on saturday as it must be something to do with the work they carried out, but can anyone shed any light on this ?

Might be a top strut mount.

Thanks for that info mike, I did have the front anti roll bar charged couple of months back, (I'm sure drop links and anti roll bars are the same)

I will get it checked from my mechanic because my springs look to be in fairly good nick

Is this a job that will need doing as a matter of urgency or can I leave it for a short term ?

Well they rang at 5 o'clock to say it was sorted and ready to go, apparently it was just a bolt that was wrong or something

Collecting car in the morning and will have a proper word
