Featured Replies

Seeing as I had some free time and the Fabia is currently off the road I took the interior out and put it through the wash

Still need to get a few stubborn stains out, I'll have to have a look about and see what's about

Came up well considering... How did they end up like that?

A daft question but how hard was it to get the covers off and more importantly to get them back on again?

To be fair it's relatively easy to remove them underneath the seats they just pull out but once you get to the front you need to cut all the hogs that hold the material to the foam and replacing is the same as removing except you need hog pliers to re secure them I haven't secured mine yet as I want to see if I can get the last couple of marks out first

My seats are a lot dirtier than yours. I might give it a go next weekend.

I'd hate to see them lol mine were grimey, good luck with it, it's not that hard to do

Use cable ties when securing the cover back to the base. It's a lot easier.

Thanks Adam I was thinking either cable ties or fishing line

It would certainly help when you need to wash them again

+1 for cable ties. Loads easier.

May I recommend that you coat them with fabric guard

It will prevent a lot of mess again in the future

I used 3M Scoth guard

Haha that would be an ideal solution lol, but I'm sure swmbo would cut off my balls and ram them down my throat
