Led indicator relay mod

Featured Replies

Hi all I'm new on here although I have been using advice off this site for the 3 years I've owned my car. Here's the issue I've bought led bulbs for my indicators and obviously lol they flash fast, I don't really want to use canbus bulbs as they use the same amount of power as the standard bulbs, I have search google and I've found lots of info on modding standard relays with a variable resistor or a fix resistor, in my octavia the relay is part of the hazzard switch and the circuit is sensitive to current, now for the question which part of the relay or flasher unit makes it sensitive i.e which diode do I need to replace. I know it's ball ache and for very little point but I'd like to mod it so I can use normal led's

Thanks in advance paul
