Columbus clarification needed

Featured Replies

Is this item on eBay actually a DAB Columbus or not?

I thought the part numbers on all DAB units ended in '686'.

The seller has relisted it three times (first two were Buy It Now listings) and has been vague on responding to my emails.

Can anyone confirm or is it best to avoid?

No, it's not DAB. It's not even an LED screen by the look of things. Not working it's worth less than the £200 it's got in bids at the moment.

That's what I thought, but wanted to check.

The original listing(s) were for a working DAB Columbus.

Perhaps one for any potential buyers to avoid...

Well, someone asked if it was DAB and got a non committal answer, the listing ended at £255 winning bid this morning, and straight away it's back on sale again. Still one to avoid.

£255 for a non functional old unit is just silly. If it needs a mainboard (most likely) then that's another £250 odd.

Definitely agree.
