Me again, does anyone that has retrofitted maxidot to an s spec octavia know which wire needs shorting to ground to disable the low washer level indicator? S spec has no washer level sensor so indicator light is permanently on. Thanks

ehm... better is dissable washer sensor via VAG/VCDS...

I did look for it in vcds but could not see it under instruments. May have missed it. I know Eddie fitted the sensor but I don't care about it and don't have his skills so a quick vcds turn off would be great.

Went back to it and found the issue, the pre fl maxidot speedo doesn't seem to support long coding so had to do it old school. I had a 7 where I needed a 2. Wash bottle sensor now disabled.
