Can you guys have a look at the underside of your spoiler and confirm how many holes are there. The reason I ask is that I am sure there was only 1 in the middle of the spoiler that came with my car. I have recently has it replaced under warranty and there now appears to be 3 holes underneath , 1 in the middle and the other 2 a few inches before the spoiler attaches to the bodywork at each side.

Mines still on original spoiler and can confirm it has the 3 holes as you describe.
