central locking

a bit of information regarding me door locks that may be useful.

drivers door wouldn't lock using fob ,but all doors would lock using key in drivers door.i had no flashing red light on door panel and the warning beep for lights left on wouldn't work either.on top of all this the rear hatch would work intermittently (if it wouldn't open i would have to open one of the rear doors and try again and it would always work---weird).yesterday i fitted a new lock to the drivers door and -lo and behold everything works fine-----almost ,if you press the interior switch to lock all doors, the drivers door unlocks itself straight away, this i can live with.the new lock was bought off  ebay from a polish vendor-lock was brand new and cost only £30 plus £3 postage absolute bargain.

apart from squeaky front bushes when weather is dry and warm this is the only time the damn car has been niggle free but i aint holding me breath.i hope some of this is useful knowing that there are lock problems on here almost everyday
