I haven't polished a car in a while and I am still yet to finish off the dregs of my Meguiar's 205 before moving onto something else but before I do, what's new in the polishing world? Is there anything that I should be considering?

 

I know that these forced rotation machines seem to be the thing to use, probably coupled with microfibre pads, but what's the current go to product for use with a rotary machine? Is foam still the thing to use with non-diminishing abrasive polishes?

We should have chatted at ultimate dubs. I could have given a good lowdown doing it online is a little tougher.

MF is definitely a move in the right direction in the last 12 months

I use Rupes MF pads..very good indeed in conjunction with a foam interface pad for more cushioning

However....I still extensively use foam pads and diminishing polish

At the end of the day, if it works well, I will use that..and foam does it for me mor than MF

Then you read what's happening on DW and you get, " You don't want to do that!" Like Harry Enfield!! Lol

I steer clear of such places and the people that frequent it!!!
