I'd like to listen to the radio while my kids sleep in the back of my Octavia. I have an Amundsen unit that clearly has an input socket bottom right.

I have tried putting my headphones in here (they fit) but I'm sure this is an input socket.

I have searched in the glove box and in the arm rest box to find a headphone socket.

Does it exist?

The socket you are plugging your headphones into is the Aux in socket and will not output anything I'm afraid.

 

I don't think I've ever heard of a car with a headphone socket on the stereo. The suspect the best plan is to keep the volume low and if the Amundsen has a fader move it fully to the front.

Thank you. Yes I can fade and balance to front right if I am driving. Shame though.
