all the same?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

been meaning to ask the question I think I already know the answer to...

I own autobrite nano-seal and C2v3 (which I love but is missing!), but thinking I need to top this with a wax, I also have some fk1000, but as the name suggest, its a sealant, therefore would this basically remove either of the two sealants instead of topping them as a wax would?

Cheers,

Kyle

No....it will another layer

It will be a good topper to your existing sealant..but not absolutely necessary if the sealant is in good order

I was thinking of buying Collinite 476s Super Double Coat Wax, to do this job, would you say that the fk1000 would be just as good?

Probably better as it's pure sealant and will stand higher temperatures

You need the most durable product possible..taking off the wheels to do this is time consuming

The fk1000 stuff ( never used it btw...gets good reviews) is possibly more durable on calipers

I use 1000p on my wheels and I must say I think it offers excellent value for money (if you buy a sample pot) and does a great job at protecting the Wheels, I never have any trouble cleaning them what so ever and it lasts up to 6 months i'd say. Never used it on paint though but it does have some good reviews.

It's very good on paint, give it a true, very good value for money.
