Fitting something (or not)!

Featured Replies

Has anyone fitted one of those tuning device things to their Superb yet that requires you to unplug the big connector from the engine and plug the device in between? (dragon digital box etc)

Any tips for how to get to the plug as I believe its located on the rear of the engine, and being longitudinaly mounted looks a right pig to get to?

I want to know as I want to.... Errrr.... Clean the plug!

Definately not to fit any such tuning device as that would be very naughty!

Oh and where would be the best place to not store anything under the bonnet that isn't a tuning device? ;)

Yeah it looks a right pig to get out ...but I would take the engine cover off first ...flip the plastic caps off and undo the nuts from then on I think you will have to be double jointed (take note of where I believe the plug has a mark on it first ..)(would make it a lot easier to fit the plug back on later.....after cleaning ) seems to be much to much space near the passenger side bulkhead near or in between all the brake pipes :D ..

Oh and number 11 works out at 175.5 bhp and 288lbs/ft I believe

But who would be THAT naughty

Certainly not me!

Number 11 eh? that'll be a 'king prawn chow mein' then

And once you unstore it, is its previous presence detectable on dealer gizmo's?

I'm tempted to not fit something myself, to compensate for the auto box.

Hmmmmm........
