Hi sorry won't be able to help you with the conversion but I'm curious is it worth doing the 6 speed on a 1.8t engine will you not lose some of the range or indeed does it help it having the extra gear? The reason I ask is I have seen a 6 speed box for sale and didn't know if it was a good idea or not. Sorry to hijack but would be grateful of the knowledge.

Well it's supposed to be a really good mod. From what I've heard makes the octy drive like a totally different car I've driven the leon cupra with a 6speed and I find it a more engaging drive it's all down to personal preference really
