Managed to tweak a nerve in my shoulder claying the missus' car. I got the job finished but haven't started my yeti yet.

That needs doing though as I think the car is 30% yeti, 40% Terradactyl poo, and 30% Sahara dust :-(

My back is letting me know I might have overdone it yesterday on the wifes car... Maybe I should have got her to wind the coilovers up to a more comfortable height for polishing ;-)

She rebuilt all the suspension herself with polybushes and the coilovers. She's also stripped her 7L Cadillac engine down to just the block so the heads could be reworked... She needed help lifting them out though ;-)

I get detailers lower back. Wish I had a 2 post lift to use haha

Good at hoovering but she leaves the ironing to me... Thus we iron very little ;-)

She is currently cleaning up a little lathe that she rescued from her work as they were getting shot of it... Won't be long before she's better than me at this rate :-S

She can iron but won't hoover downstairs (large rug as it's laminate everywhere) as the hoover is too heavy to carry down.

She can't cook very well either. Nor cut the grass.

2 and a bit weeks in it's still giving me grief. Doc explained that "detailers shoulder" isn't a recognised medical condition but to persevere with painkillers, anti-inflammatories and keeping the shoulder mobilised.

 

By which i think he means I have to clean the car again.

 

Think I'll give that a miss until I can roll over in bed without sounding like Chewbacca would after stubbing his toe.

 

Anyway, be careful out there boys and girls, don't get your bucket out without proper stretching and warming up etc.

sounds advice from Alan - well worth investigating massage options on such injuries.
