Is there anyone in the Liverpool area who has a working VCDS who could help me turn on my tow bar electrics?

 

I bought the cable from ebay and have tried for 3 nights to get it to work without success, its driving me insane!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Brian. I have a genuine VCDS. No idea how to do this but if you have the info then I'm sure we could figure it out.

Non-genuine vag-com cables from eBay won't work. I am in East Cheshire if you are willing to travel. Ive not done a towbar as yet but i have done plenty of other tweaks.

Its a westfalia one which I was told is the Skoda part???

What wiring kit did you go for?

What part number is on the towing module in the kit?

Right I can't get to the box because it's buried behind the trim, but here's the details from the box it came from.
