lacquer peeling on bumper

Featured Replies

My Red 2002 vrs has really bad lacquer peel on the front top of the bumper between where the lights and black strip are, I was thinking of sanding off the dead lacquer and a respray of lacquer back on top of it? would that work or not... I don't want to respray the whole bumper, just thinking I could get away with that bit of a bodge as it cant look any worse than it is.

Had the same on my wing behind the indicator. I didnt even go mad with the sandig just got all the flaky stuff off and gave it a couple of coats of clear coat. Its been fine since, not spread any farther. Just really need the time and weather to flatten it and build up properly.
