These Yetis are breeding in Pembrokeshire

Featured Replies

After 3 very happy years in my 2.0 diesel SE DSG Yeti with no faults and only new tyres to add to my usual running costs, I have acquired a new L+K 170 DSG in Rosso Brunello. The 2 look great together.

I need to get to grips with all the extra goodies on the L+K and tame that extra bhp. I've already noticed that the mpg isn't as good but that may be because its new and my right foot has been itching - a bit!

Colour looks great, just like the glass of Merlot I'm quaffing to celebrate.

Happy days.

I've not seen one "in the flesh" but in the pics I've seen so far, Rosso Brunello does look very like Austin Rover's Damask Red - which did suit several of their cars, even if the cars themselves were'nt up to much!

Looks very nice in that colour.  Also an interesting contrast between pre and post FL.  In fairness, the angle is probably the least flattering for the older model, but the new one is growing on me.  Yetis with DSG really are the business aren't they.

Thanks, yes looks good in this colour. Friends say its interesting colour so not sure if its good or bad! The DSG box is a wonder for those of us used to 'slushmatic' boxes. It changes soooo quick! And matching so well with the 170bhp engine it is a bit on the quick side. Boy racers watch out for the old geezer in the Yeti!

I wasn't sure about the look of the front of the updated Yeti. Sleek corporate Skoda as opposed to the individuality of the large fog light look. I did prefer the old look, but I have warmed to the new one.

Still learning where the buttons are on all the L&K spec. Heated seats & windscreen - roll on the winter!
