I have just been out doing a few errands, attached my PID and it worked fine. Parked up and when finished got back i car and attached PID again and when i selected the media option only display pictures option came up, I could not access my music.

 

Has any body else had this problem and if so how was it fixed?

First thing to do is check the contacts are clean both ends of the dock. Mine does all sorts of odd stuff if not periodically removed and contacts cleaned.

what format you got your music in? supports mp3 and only a couple of others from memory

Can be like this sometimes. It's seems to slowly do everything from start up. Did with me on Bluetooth occasionally.

software updates fix and break things randomly as well

i had an issue when i used a cheap sd card. upgraded to a known brand with speed 10 or whatever the thing is, and its been fine since.
