I've seen on a couple of pages of Google that this has now been discontinued due to ongoing "Quality Control" issues.

 

Does anyone know anything about this and whether it has been discontinued or not?

I'm sure I've read on here possibly in the dashcam group buy it r a dashcam topic in th octy3 forum that theyve had quality issue s with a lot of these u it enough that they've stopped sales until a usable unit has been produced

Similar comments on the Techmoan site... No longer recommends at all due to quality issues...

Mine is packaged and going back to ccs on Tuesday as it is not working properly. A number of people on here have had issues.

I'm already on my second one, which is now playing up again - distorted crackly sound & poor GPS. It's a shame because the video quality, with the polarising filter is brilliant. Also the 2nd SD card slot is handy. Unfortunately I bought mine direct from China - never again !!

That's not good news at all. It has the potential to be a great little camera, but too many in the group buy have had issues.

Mines going back tomorrow, such a shame as when it does work it's a great little camera.
