Be warned though... Briskoda is not healthy for your wallet as others will point out! Gets very tempting to mod the car!

Last time round i bought a civic type s. Not a bad car, just a bit dull dynamically and very difficult to get the best out of it performance wise. Apparently they've remapped the engine on the later ones to overcome that problem. Two big beefs however, the AVERAGE age of civic drivers is 58! I contemplated the flat cap and tartan rug for the back seat, but still too spritely for that. I also reckon that me buying one dropped the mean by aobut 5 years and I'm 44 It also drank hydrocarbons at an alarming rate if you drove it enthusiatically (18-22 mpg)

Twice before buying the type s I pitched up at the Skoda dealer, but, to my shame i shied off, once because of snobbery, and the second occasion because the salesman was too busy dealing with people smarter than me! Got there in the end though and the grin on my face just gets wider and wider

forgot to say, the furby trounces the civic all ways round. Even some aspects of the build quality are better, insurance and tax are cheaper, servicing is cheaper (I'm gonna stop now or else I might cry!!)

Yup stopping there, any more and it will start looking ott. At the moment it still looks like its standard out of the factory... that and student pocket isn't any deeper.... and anyway... got to save up for a real vRS!!
