gmail hacked

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I got an email on my work email saying my gmail has been accessed by a new device, device is a nexus 7.

ip address 176.12.107.132.

can i get specifics on this address, for example service provider, exact location etc?

or info on what they read?

cheers

i think the explanation on how they got my password was pretty self explanatory, someone changed the password on my 14 year old daughters gmail which is linked to my exs account, i helped my daughter gain access to her account and stupidly used my gmail password as the reset password...

two hours later my gmail was logged in using the nexus7...

i guess i dont want to point fingers though without any proof

Click the link in the email and follow the instructions to kick them out and undo any damage they did.

funnily enough I logged into my Gmail today from a computer I've not used for it before. Went to my laptop and had a mail from Google asking me to verify that I knew that machine.
