Clutch and flywheel kit

Featured Replies

What seems to be my flywheel is starting to judder.

I plan on a remap in the near future.

What kit would be best to cope with the map once done?

Don't want to spent thousands, just something that will do the job.

Cheers.

TBH a standard setup is sufficient of the torque is kept under 300.

Yeah I reckon that kit will be fine for your needs.

As for changing the release bearing, I dunno if I am honest. When I had my clutch and DMF changed under warranty when I first bough my Fab it wasn't changed and I haven't read too many (if any) posts about changing it at the same time, although happy to be put right if someone actually knows for sure.

Ok will leave that out unless someone else comments otherwise.

Should I stick with that one above or are there cheaper ones available?

I know there's a risk of going too cheap so obviously don't want to do that.

I would stick to that personally as that seems reasonable.

As for cheap clutches, In my opinion you buy cheap you buy twice, but others I'm sure will say the opposite.

There are some on eBay around £200+

Just wondering whether it's worth it or whether it'll be useless after a map.

For the sake of £80 odd, I would buy the one you posted above. If the cheap on off eBay for £200 odd isn't up to it, you'll have to pay for fitment again and have wiped out your initial saving.

Buy cheap, buy twice IMO.
