02 bank 1 sensor 2

Featured Replies

hi guys. I've just bought an obd2 reader for my car. I've done a scan and it shows no faults logged on Ecu.

When I've done vehicle test result it's saying 02 bank 1 sensor 2 is not ok. Says current is 65,520. I'll be honest. I've no idea what this means.

It says it should be min 6,216 and max 20,488. Obviously mine is way over at 65 k plus. All the other sensors are ok and all the others tests are green and ok.

I'm using torque pro app. Cheers

That is the downstream, ie second, Lambda sensor, the "bank 1" bit just confirms that Skoda did not slip a Vee engine in there!  If the sensor output was "too high" in as much as there were too much crap coming out the cat, then I'd expect an emissions warning to be getting set.

I get the same result when I run the same app  (Torque Pro).  So I guess this is normal..  (Well I have had no problems)

Hi mate cheers for the reply. Yup, I've had no warning lights whatsoever. So it's all very strange. And don't know how accurate these obd readers are?

The only Thing I've noticed in the past couple of months is my car has rough idle a lot of the time. Not sure if this could be linked?

Had recent service and still rough. Getting my plugs changed next month because they're on 30k now and thinking it could be them.

That's interesting! Pretty much the same then :-). That makes me feel a bit better. Maybe it's just a glitch then?
