On my Furby VRS, I could swear that after the doors Auto Locked, you finished the journey and when you removed the key from the ignition the doors "Auto unlocked".

At the moment, mine is not doing the latter, so it auto locks ok, but when you come to get out after removing the key you need to give a hefty tug on the handle to get lock up.

Was I dreaming about the Auto Unlock, or is there a problem somewhere

No, the autounlock should work.

Had any ECU settings changed lately, as thats one of the settings. its programmed separately from the autolock.

As Manny says, you can select independently whether to have the autolock and the autounlock, so it sounds like the auto-unlock has just been unselected. This is usally done with VAG-COM/dealer diagnostic gear......

Yep - can be coded by your local friendly dealer if you want it enabled, or have a look in the VAG-COM FAQ if you know anyone with a VAG-COM cable who can do it for you

standard is Off... no autolock/unlock and silent alarm

Then you can tell ur dealer on purchase what you want switched on.

As std all settings are turned off. I got my dealer to activate the auto lock unlock and then used Vag-Com to enable to beep.

mine was all switched on, as mine was an ex demo so I think they had it all set to on in vag-com.

funny how they now auto lock, but not auto unlock. just seemed to "happen" with nothing being done on the car recently.

Will have to nip to gorners when I get back home, unless anyone is in the cardiff area with vag-com and fancies earning some beer token's this week by checking mine out for me????????
