Coolant temperature sensor 2006 BXE 1.9 tdi

Featured Replies

I can see two sensors listed for my car, one with two pins one with four. Does anyone know which mine is to save me stripping the car to find out?

Two pins - just changed mine on a bkd. The four pins ones are for the mk1.

Thanks adamal

Why are you changing it? I have read that on a bkd there are two, one for the ecu and one for the dash pod...

Hot start issues, since getting the flywheel and clutch changed there is a problem with the engine shuddering on hot start.  I am doing the cheapest first before moving on to the battery and starter. I have a receipt for a new battery in the service history 20 months ago. Mine is the BXE

Ah ok. Yeah worth a try. Mine was for a faulty dash pod reading, I had thought it cured it, but the error was back this morning....

Pretty sure it is the same sensors on the bkd and bxe engines.
