1L Castrol EDGE 5W-30 £6.90 Amazon Prime

Good deal on Castrol EDGE 5W-30 on Amazon Prime. I am looking at getting this for my 2006 TFSI VRS. Anybody had any bad experiences (if you can have with oil!) of it?

Great price, but perhaps a little too good.

 

Be wary of fake oil that seems to be appearing on eBay and Amazon more and more frequently.

 

Personally I would go for VW's genuine Quantum oil (which is Castrol) bought from a reputable eBay seller (Audi main dealer in Cardiff).

 

VW 504.00 certified for your engine, £27.25 for four litres (cheaper than 4x 1 litre bottles of Castrol from Amazon) delivered to your door...

Asda also do their own brand 507.00 oil for VW engines for £26 for 5 litres
