Drivers door window

Featured Replies

Hi...in the wet, my drivers door windows goes down and up with no noise. In the dry, when putting it down or up, it squeals like crazy. I have used furniture polish on the window seals and it made no real difference. All other windows are fine and make no noise. Any help please would be grateful, as it's driving me mad.

I know how you feel mine does it too my golf did it as well no escape!

It's the rough fabric type seal on the bottom of the window - it traps dust and when it's dry causes this. You need to wind the window all the way down to get to it, push it back and clean it with an old toothbrush and soapy water. Spray it with silicon lubricant and let it dry, then wind the window back up
