New member to the boards today. I live in Hinckley - which is 10 miles from Coventry.

Currently have an Octy II Elegance TDI, previously had Octy I Elegance TDI. Been owning Skoda's now for around 5 years.

Which engine do you have , and how does it compare to the old one on performance and economy?

I went for the 1.9 PD TDi.

I tested out the 2.0 TDi PD and it was much quicker off the mark and had more torque, but, I felt you had to work the gearbox and engine harder to keep the revs and smoothness. Wasn't worth the extra
